Fair use of the platform
Members must provide accurate information, respect other people, follow applicable law and avoid attempts to manipulate rankings, security controls or moderation systems. BrowseRP may restrict content or access when needed to protect members and the service.
Accounts
Discord provides the primary identity signal. A BrowseRP display name is separate and may be changed subject to content review. Members are responsible for keeping their sign-in method secure.
Collect less, expose less
Public profiles never include email addresses, OAuth tokens, raw network addresses, recovery codes or private staff notes. Network signals used for abuse prevention are cryptographically hashed before storage. Sensitive access is permission-scoped and consequential staff actions are recorded in an append-only log.
Data controls
Members can choose public, members-only or private profile visibility. Deletion and export workflows must verify identity and preserve only records required for security, financial reconciliation or legal obligations.
Safe, useful discovery
Listings, reviews, profiles, advertisements, developer services and resources must be accurate, relevant and suitable for the audiences they claim to serve. Spam, impersonation, credential requests, malicious links, discriminatory abuse and deceptive promotion are prohibited.
Layered review
Rules and rate limits handle clear cases. Uncertain content enters a review queue. Automated signals inform decisions but do not replace accountable human review for consequential enforcement.
Fixed value, no surprises
BrowseRP promotion credits are fixed-value, non-transferable and have no cash value. They do not provide random rewards and cannot purchase the entire organic ranking. There are no automatic subscriptions in the initial catalog.
Only make a purchase when authorized to do so, including guardian permission where required. Checkout shows the full amount before payment. Refunds and disputes are reconciled against the immutable credit ledger.
A separate review path
Eligible account bans support one structured appeal. Appeals are routed to staff with the appropriate permission and should not be decided by the same person when a conflict exists. Decisions include a reason and are retained in the audit record.
